        European Commission’s Public OpinionAccess to the European Union's public survey activities, such as its Eurobarometer 
        studies. Used by the EU to direct policy but exceedingly useful for anyone 
        wanting to keep an eye on European opinion.
 The 
        Pew Research CenterAccess to archive of online reports by an independent opinion research 
        group sponsored by The Pew Charitable Trusts. Reports cover a wide range 
        of subjects, but of particular interest is the "Pew Global Attitudes 
        Project", which provides insight into differences and similarities 
        of attitudes and behaviors between nations.
 PollingReport.comAvowedly independent site features free national poll highlights on all 
        subjects, including the economy, politics, culture, and lifestyles. Other 
        data—such as state-by-state presidential, congressional, and gubernatorial 
        polls—as well as analyses by leading pollsters, is available by 
        subscription.
 Roper 
        Center Public Opinion ArchivesNonprofit, nonpartisan public opinion data archive at the University of 
        Connecticut. The Center's excellent Web site not only provides the findings 
        of recent and past public opinion surveys, but provides question-by-question 
        coverage, with details of the wording of questions and repsonse percentages.
