code finders, map symbols, unit converters and more. Some resources available
only to university faculty and students.

An online textbook offering training statistics. Contains materials from
Anova/Manova through classification trees, discriminant analysis and general
regression models to variance components. This site also has a statistical
glossary and a list of references for further study.
HyperStat
Online
The main offering at this site is the HyperStat Online Textbook, an introductory
guide to statistics, but many other resources make it worth a visit, including
book reviews, statistics link resources, and an online forum for users of the
textbook. Sadly, the links to statistics jokes no longer flourish as they once
did!

Site functions as a free online journal, with an editorial board that
reviews and publishes academic papers on just about every imaginable aspect
of statistical research and on new and innovative statistical methods.

Portal site for statistics mainly divides resources into the subject areas
in which statistics are used (including marketing research). One interesting
feature is the "Gambling, Lying..." section, which examines
the use of statistics by gamblers, how statistics are made to lie by the
media, and similar topics of general interest.
